As It Stands

I've been meaning to be more active on here..

I got a lot of stuff going on right now.. Just really need to find the motivation to actually DO those things as opposed to tacking them onto the bottom of the to-do list.

I picked up a new guitar. I don't know why I dropped that much money on something I can not even coherently play. Perhaps its a mechanism to keep me from my own devices by inspiring the will to learn it via economics. Economically, I lose money if the guitar does not even provide me with the returns of enjoyable playability.

I grabbed a big screen tv for $50 off of a friend who was moving. It isn't HDTV, but it's a big-ass screen for $50. My logic tells me I can't beat that anyway. So, lately I've been wiring EVERYTHING in my room into it. Video games, DVD player, laptop, even used it as a secondary guitar amp via my computer's mixer.

One relatively significant update I suppose would be the fact that within the timespan between this post and the former, I've gone through a short-lived relationship. I went out with this girl that I've known for what would probably chalk up to about 4.5~5 years for a couple of weeks and then I'm woken this morning to be broken up with. Gotta love that, right? Can't even get 5 fucking minutes to wake up before I'm fed bad news first thing today.

Anyways; besides that, I am 13.5hrs away from...

NINE INCH MOTHERFUCKING NAILS

So yeah, I'm definitely excited about that. Lots of rare and never-before-played tracks being thrown into the setlists these first couple nights of this tour and I'm getting more and more anxious to see what's played for us coming up tonight.

They're on a bill with two other bands; Jane's Addiction (which I don't give a shit about) and Street Sweeper which features Tom Morello, the guitarist from Rage Against The Machine, so you know that shit is bound to be totally cool.
